The History Of Colour TV return to Knochenbox almost a year to the day after their last appearance there, this time the difference being the excellent debut album they have tucked under their arms and new member and drummer Theo “Marcus” Rahkun.
Emerald Cures Chic Ills is quite an achievement boasting The Cure-like moments in opener Let’s Get Sick and on Suddenlines but a few listens in to this record and it’s true treasures are gradually revealed until you find yourself glued to your armchair being slain yet again by Mend on side two of the record, an epic keyboard screamer that Robert Smith himself wishes he’d written. The record will be released worldwide on Saint Marie Records although you can already grab a copy of the album on vinyl already at their upcoming shows.
